The project “Interactive Learning: Digital Competences for Innovative Culture, iL-DC4IC” deals with the examination of students' digital competences and the innovative culture of universities. The aim of this project is to contribute to the digital transition of higher education in the Republic of Croatia through the development of new theoretical models and conceptual frameworks within the ERC area of Social Sciences and Humanities, especially in the fields of competitiveness, innovation and digital communication networks. The main objective of the project is to design and test an information model of the maturity of an innovative culture based on the ERC principles of "curiosity-oriented" research and the experimental implementation of interactive learning in CAVLE4SSH laboratory. Additional objectives include the creation of constructs for the interactive learning (iL) and digital competences (DC) information package, the development of a maturity model of the innovative culture of students (ICS) and universities (ICU), and the creation of metrics for the formative and summative evaluation of the e-learning outcomes of the courses included in the project. The research will use mixed methods, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches, with a focus on analysing the impact of VR/AR technologies and AI tools in education, on the development of digital competencies and innovative student culture. The results will contribute to the development of new theoretical and practical solutions, strengthening the innovativeness and digital skills of students and teachers. The project is designed in accordance with the objectives of the Call, institutional priorities and the EU strategy for the digital transformation of higher education. The implementation of the planned activities will contribute to the strengthening of scientific excellence and the digital transition of teaching at the University North.
